When people across our communities, across this country, and around the world choose to stand together, even the smallest act of generosity becomes part of something much larger. A contribution, a prayer, an introduction, a shared message, or an offered hour can help give a woman the stable ground she needs to heal, rebuild, and grow strong.
That strength does not stop with her. When a woman has a stronger foundation beneath her, she can reach back for someone else’s hand—lifting her, guiding her, and reminding her that a better life is possible. This is how hope travels: one person steadied, then another.
There will be moments when someone who is struggling cannot carry her own hope. In those moments, we can hold it for her. By joining forces, we can use our strength to give strength, turn small contributions into lasting change, help save lives, and build a circle of support wide enough to reach far beyond one home. Together, we can help people rise—and become strong enough to help others rise with them.
A women-only supportive sober home in Minnesota
Pillars of Grace Healing Home will give residents four months of structure, sisterhood, and practical support—so recovery has somewhere steady to take root.
Supportive housing—not treatment or clinical care.

Each resident follows her own four-month journey while sharing the home’s weekly rhythm. Women can arrive at different times and still move forward together.
Sleep, movement, nutrition, cooking, and medical and dental care. The body is stabilized first, because healing needs a strong foundation.
Thought patterns, coping skills, journaling, life skills, and goals. Residents strengthen the thinking that guides everyday choices.
Therapy, healing groups, meditation, boundaries, grief work, and forgiveness—the deeper heart work, done safely.
Purpose, faith in each resident’s own way, gratitude, and service—plus a launch plan for housing, aftercare, and life beyond the home.
Life at Pillars of Grace Healing Home will be structured without feeling institutional. Every resident arrives after completing treatment; this is the next step—a place to practice recovery in everyday life.
The program is Christian-inspired, with an optional faith path. No church attendance or religious belief is required, and every resident’s path is respected. Grace is not grace if it comes with conditions.
Sixteen weekly life-skills workshops build month by month through the four pillars.
The program closes with graduation, a farewell circle, and a take-home Keep Going Guide.
Pillars of Grace Healing Home is being planned for Washington County and the Twin Cities east metro, where women’s recovery-housing options remain limited.
“Create a safe, healing place where people can rebuild the foundations they need to move forward and live well.”
Pillars of Grace Healing Home will start small, with a long-term vision of growing into supportive homes for women, men, and mothers with children. Each home will center the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual foundations that help residents build stable ground.
Phase one: buy a five-bedroom house in the Washington County area, with a target opening in late 2027 or early 2028. The layout is set: three bedrooms shared by two women each — six residents — one bedroom as the fitness and exercise room, and one as the office and staff space.
Four pillars. Stable ground. New life.
Angela's founding philosophy, in her own words — the belief Pillars of Grace Healing Home is built on.
“It has to come from your heart. It has to be sincere, and genuine, and your passion.”
I've been thinking about the work I do, and the work I plan to do. It's nice to get compliments and recognition for a project, or for something I've put together to make things better. But to truly help people — to be genuine, and sincere, and a real help — it can't be because you want praise, or recognition, or awards, or prizes, or anything like that.
It has to come from your heart. It has to be sincere, and genuine, and your passion. And that's what will make a program work, I think — if it's truly from your soul. When every part of you wants to help others, and see them succeed, and see them do well, and help build them up. That's what matters.
If you're going to start an organization — a nonprofit organization, an organization that's meant to help better people's lives — it has to be based on that.
— Angela Martini, Founder, Pillars of Grace Healing Home
The current plan is to buy a five-bedroom house in Washington County: three bedrooms shared by two women each (six residents), one bedroom as the fitness and exercise room, and one as the office and staff space, with shared living and dining space, a group room, and laundry. A purchase and renovation budget will be published here once a property is chosen and real quotes are in hand.
Costs pending property-specific quotes.
The budget will cover the home’s purchase price, renovation and safety work, furnishings and equipment, the company vehicle, insurance, and a six-month startup operating reserve. Real figures — from an actual property and actual bids — will replace this note as soon as they exist.
